How Managers Clock In, Clock Out, or Start Breaks for a Team Member
Managers can perform selected time-clock actions from a team member’s Work Detail. The available buttons depend on the person’s current state and account settings.
Step 1: Open Work Detail
From the manager Home screen, open Team Work Status or select a team member from the current-work view.
Work Pulse
Confirm the correct team member, active Job Code, Work Site, timer, and current break state.

Clock a team member in or out
When the person is not working, Work Detail can show Clock In. When a shift is active, it can show Clock Out.

Complete any confirmation shown by ShiftFlow, then reopen the member’s status and Timesheet. A Manager action creates or changes payroll-facing time and should match what actually happened.
Adjust the start time
Tap Adjust Start when the active shift began at a different time. Enter the accurate start and confirm. This is not a substitute for changing an unrelated completed shift.

Start or end a break
Tap Start Break when the member is working and the account’s break mode allows it. While the person is on break, the available action changes to End Break.

Predefined break duration, paid status, auto-end, and overrun behavior still come from Break Settings.
After a Manager action
Verify the Work Detail timer, Team Work Status, and Timesheet. Add a note when your business needs an explanation for the intervention. If the wrong completed time was saved, edit the Shift or review a Time Correction request instead.
