How to Allow Team Members to Create Shifts
Create Shift Permission controls whether team members can add a worked Shift when time was not recorded. It does not allow them to create or publish scheduled shifts in Team Scheduler.
Step 1: Open Create Shift Permission
Tap More → Account Settings → Create Shift Permission.
Account Settings
Step 2: Enable the permission
Turn on Allow Team Members to Create Shifts, tap Save, and confirm the change.

What team members can do
After the setting refreshes, a team member can open their Timesheet, tap Add, and enter a missing worked Shift.

The Shift can affect hours and estimated pay. Completed-shift edits and Time Correction workflows still follow the account’s applicable permissions and approval behavior.
Disable the permission
Turn the setting off and save when all missing time must be entered by a Manager. Existing shifts and historical requests remain in Timesheets.
Tell the team which process to use before changing the setting. A Time Correction request is usually safer when a Manager should review the proposed values before they replace payroll-facing time.
