Location Tracking keeps timekeeping accurate by confirming where clock-ins happen. Follow these steps to enable the feature, decide how strict it should be, and make sure your approved sites are up to date.

Step 1: Open the More tab

From the home screen, tap More in the bottom navigation to open your administrative tools.

Step 2: Open Location Tracking

Inside the More menu, scroll to the Time Clock section and select Location Tracking.

Step 3: Turn on location collection

Use the Collect Device Locations toggle to enable location tracking. When on, team members are prompted to allow location access on their devices.

Step 4: Choose how strict tracking should be

Location Tracking offers two enforcement levels:

• Optional – Device locations are collected but not enforced.
• Mandatory – Clock in would fail if not within the site perimeter. Make sure you have sites and work locations set.

Highlight whichever mode matches your policy before saving.

Toggle to Mandatory when you want clock-ins to require a stored site perimeter.

Step 5: Review the sites list

Select Manage to confirm the addresses that determine whether a clock-in succeeds when tracking is mandatory. Add or update sites so every work location appears in the list.

After you tap Manage, you land on the full Sites & Locations list where you can edit existing addresses or add a new site before returning to Location Tracking.

Tap a location to expand its details, preview the map, and use the Edit or Delete actions before saving your changes.

Choose Edit to adjust the location profile.

Need to adjust the geofence size? Tap Default under Adjust Area Size to pick the footprint that matches your worksite.

Confirm the site’s geofence footprint by picking the size that matches the worksite.

To remove a location entirely, return to Sites & Locations, expand the address, and tap Delete.

You can also jump straight to the full Sites & Locations list from the More tab and edit addresses there before returning to Location Tracking.
