How to Enable Mileage Tracking
Mileage tracking keeps travel expenses consistent across teams. Turn it on to let team members record distance during a shift and optionally attach a reimbursement rate.
Step 1: Open the More tab
Launch the ShiftFlow app and tap More in the bottom navigation bar.
Step 2: Open Extra Shift Info
In the Time Clock section, select Extra Shift Info.
Step 3: Enable Mileage
Turn on the Mileage toggle so team members can log the miles or kilometers they drive for a shift.

Step 4: Optional: set a reimbursement rate
If your business reimburses travel, turn on Mileage rate and enter the amount your business pays per mile or kilometer. ShiftFlow uses exactly the rate you save here.

If you follow IRS guidance, enter the current standard mileage rate for the year you are reimbursing and update it whenever the IRS changes that rate. Reference: IRS standard mileage rates.
With mileage tracking on, team members can add mileage from the active shift screen and any reimbursement rate you configure flows to reports and exports automatically.
If your reimbursements run per kilometer instead of per mile, switch your distance unit first: How to Change Account Distance Unit.
