Keeping the default premium amount accurate ensures ShiftFlow applies the correct uplift whenever qualifying shifts are worked. Follow the steps below to move from the main navigation into Premium Pay, review the Shift Differential schedule, and confirm the default rate.

Step 1: Open the More tab

In the mobile app, tap More in the bottom navigation bar to reach the administrative settings.

Step 2: Go to Account Settings

On the More screen, choose Account Settings to access global payroll configuration.

Step 3: Open Premium Pay

Scroll (if needed) to Premium Pay and open it. This screen consolidates all premium rules for the account.

Step 4: Edit the Shift Differential schedule

Inside Premium Pay, tap Edit next to the Shift Differential card to review the existing schedule.

Step 5: Open the Default Premium details

Inside the Shift Differential screen, tap the Default Premium row to review how the uplift is applied across eligible days.

Step 6: Review or adjust the premium amount

The Default Premium screen shows the current rate and lets you choose the unit you apply (percentage or fixed amount). Confirm the correct option is selected, review the amount, and then close the screen to return to your schedule.
