How to Use ShiftFlow on Web and Tablet

ShiftFlow uses the same account data across supported devices, but navigation and device integrations can differ on web, tablet, and mobile.

Use the wide layout

On a wide screen, use the sidebar to move between Home, Time Clock, Schedule, Reports, Chat, and account areas. Tables may show more columns than the phone layout.

Web uses a wide sidebar and download actions. Tablet layouts keep the same account data with more room for tables.

Confirm the active account and date range after opening a bookmarked page.

Download exports

On web, export actions download PDF or CSV files through the browser. Mobile can also offer a Share action that is not shown on web.

Check browser download permissions and the Downloads folder if the file does not appear.

Allow browser permissions

Camera and location access are controlled per browser and site. Allow them for the ShiftFlow site only when required. A permission granted to the mobile app does not automatically apply to the browser.

Use a tablet as a kiosk

Kiosk Mode is the shared-device workflow. Set it up from a Manager account, place the device securely, and have each team member use their own Kiosk PIN.

Do not leave Manager settings open on a shared tablet. Kiosk Mode, standard tablet use, and a personal mobile session have different access expectations.

Platform-specific features

iOS Live Activities and Dynamic Island are not web features. Map rendering, share sheets, background behavior, and system notifications can also vary. Use the in-app message shown on the current platform as the source for an unavailable action.
