Will Team Members See Each Other’s Location or Shifts?

ShiftFlow keeps personal time and location data private by default. Team members always see their own information. Managers, admins, and owners see broader records so they can manage scheduling, attendance, and payroll.

What Team Members Can See

Team members can access:

  • Their own clock-in and clock-out times
  • Their own location records tied to shifts
  • Their own shift history, notes, time off, and requests
  • Shared team resources such as announcements, chat, and published schedules made available to them

Can Team Members See the Team Schedule?

Not always. A business can choose whether team members are allowed to view the team schedule.

When that setting is turned on, team members can see published schedules and open shifts that are available to them. That does not give them access to another person’s location trail, pay details, private timesheets, or management-only reports.

What Managers, Admins, and Owners Can See

Managers and higher roles may see:

  • Team-wide clock-in and clock-out activity
  • Location data collected for work shifts
  • Schedule requests, time correction requests, and time off requests
  • Team timesheets, reports, and attendance history

Summary

Team members do not get blanket access to each other’s private records. Schedule visibility can be shared when a business enables it, but location history and detailed timekeeping records remain limited to the people who manage the account.
