How to Create and Manage Work Sites

Work Sites define named business locations for time tracking. Their map coordinates and radius can be used to validate where a team member performs a time clock action.

Step 1: Open Sites & Locations

Tap More → Account Settings → Locations, then tap Manage Sites & Locations.

Step 2: Add a Work Site

Tap Add Location. Enter a clear site name and search for the full address.

Select the correct result and verify the map pin. Similar street names or postal codes can place the pin in the wrong area.

Step 3: Set the allowed area

Choose the site area or radius that matches the real workplace. A radius that is too small can reject valid punches because device GPS varies; a radius that is too large weakens location validation.

Select the Job Codes that use this site. A Job Code already connected to another Work Site may be unavailable until that existing link is changed.

Tap Update or Save, then test the site with a device at the real location.

Use Delete only when the site should no longer be available. Historical shifts keep their saved location context, but future clock-in flows and Job Code links must be reviewed.

Configure clock-in behavior

Use Open Selection at Clock-In when team members should choose among eligible sites. Location collection can be Off, Optional, or Mandatory according to the account policy. See How to Configure Location Tracking.
