How to Edit or Delete a Scheduled Shift

A Scheduled Shift is planned work in Team Scheduler. It is different from a worked Shift in Timesheets. Editing the schedule does not rewrite an actual punch that has already been recorded.

Step 1: Open the scheduled shift

Open Team Scheduler, select the correct week, and tap the scheduled shift.

If the schedule is already published, the changed information becomes part of the published schedule and can generate an update notification. Recheck coverage and tell the affected team member when the change is urgent.

Delete a scheduled shift

Tap Delete, review the scheduled shift and warning, then confirm.

Deletion removes the planned shift from the schedule. It does not delete a separate worked Shift already present in Timesheets.

Before changing published work

  • Review pending Claim or Release requests.
  • Check whether the team member has already clocked in.
  • Verify associated Time Off.
  • Confirm the correct week and account.
