How to Manage Group Chats

This guide covers an existing group conversation. Team Chat must be enabled before the Chat tab and group controls are available.

Open Group Info

Open Chat, select the group, then tap the group name, image, or information control in the conversation header.

Use a recognizable business name and image. Direct conversations do not have group-name or group-member settings.

Add or review members

Open the member list to see who belongs to the group. If the add-member action is available, search for an account member and confirm the addition.

The available actions depend on your group permissions. Removing a person or changing the membership does not remove their ShiftFlow account.

Manage group content and notifications

Use Mute Group to stop group alerts on your account without leaving. Pinned Messages, Photos & Videos, and Files collect content already shared in the conversation. Shared Groups shows other group conversations shared with the relevant member when available.

Leave a group

Tap Leave Group and confirm.

Leaving removes the conversation from your active access. It does not delete the group for the remaining members. A permitted member must add you again if you need to return.

For initial setup and basic messaging, see How to Enable and Use Team Chat.
