Can I use this for a construction progress invoice?
Yes. Select Progress payment as the billing stage, describe the work billed in this period, and enter deposits or earlier payments in Amount paid so the balance is explicit.
Does this calculate retainage?
Yes. Record the contract retainage terms in the project details, then enter the retainage withheld for this invoice in Totals. The balance due deducts that amount after tax and before any payment received.
