How should selection allowances work?
An allowance reserves a stated amount in the base estimate for a product that has not been fully selected. State what it covers, who selects it, the deadline, and how overages or credits are handled.
Can I organize the estimate by room?
Yes. Add as many rooms or project areas as needed, give each one a finish level and scope summary, then assign every trade, allowance, and option to the correct area. The preview and PDF group the work by area.
Do internal costs and margin appear in the customer PDF?
No. Cost-plus mode can calculate customer prices from private costs and markup, but those internal figures do not appear in the customer preview or PDF.
