Does the generator calculate shingle packages?

Yes. Enter roof area or dimensions, slope, waste, and the coverage printed on the package. The tool estimates whole packages without assuming one universal package size.

Can I use square feet or square metres?

Yes. The English route defaults to imperial units and the Latin American Spanish route defaults to metric units.

Can I express slope as percent or degrees?

Yes. Percent and degrees are supported, and the English route also supports the common rise-over-12 format.

Does this support every roofing system?

No. The presets and material calculation are designed for asphalt shingles. Rewrite the scope and independently verify quantities before using it for another roof system.

Is the generated estimate a contract or roof design?

No. It is a commercial estimate and does not replace a final contract, tax document, professional measurement, engineering, manufacturer instructions, permits, or legal advice.
