One commission workspace instead of five disconnected templates

Pest control compensation often mixes sold revenue, collected revenue, technician production, target bonuses, payment holds, and chargebacks. This workspace keeps those rules together so a business can see both the gross commission and what is payable this period.

Use Calculate for a pay-period result, Plan to compare target scenarios, and Tracker to keep an editable record. The plan PDF and tracker CSV are free and do not require an email address.

How to calculate a pest control commission

Model the plan rules first, then separate gross commission from the amount payable this period.

  1. Choose the role. Select Sales rep or Technician so the workspace uses the right production language.
  2. Enter production and the plan rate. Add this period’s revenue, commission rate, target, and target bonus.
  3. Add advanced rules. Choose sold revenue, collected revenue, or gross profit, then add tiers, splits, a collection hold, or chargebacks when the written plan uses them.
  4. Compare and export. Review gross, held, chargeback, and payable amounts, test 50%, 100%, and 125% target scenarios, then export the plan PDF or payout tracker CSV.

Pest Control Commission Calculator FAQ

Can I calculate both sales and technician commission?

Yes. Choose Sales rep for sold revenue or Technician for production pay. The same workspace supports flat rates, progressive tiers, bonuses, splits, holds, and chargebacks.

How do progressive commission tiers work?

Each rate applies only to the production inside its tier. For example, a higher rate beginning at $10,000 applies to production above $10,000 rather than repricing the entire period.

What is the difference between gross, held, and payable commission?

Gross commission is the amount produced by the plan before the current hold and chargeback. Held is retained until the collection condition in a sold-revenue plan is met. Chargebacks reduce held commission before payable commission; any amount above current gross commission is shown as carry-forward. Payable is the remainder for this period.

Does the tracker upload payroll or customer data?

No. The draft is stored in this browser, and CSV or PDF files are generated locally. ShiftFlow does not receive the values entered in this calculator.
